Save the Tigris and Marshes

Save the Tigris and Marshes is a civil society campaign advocating for the protection of the Tigris-Euphrates river basin and the Mesopotamian Marshes. Over time, the initiative has grown into an international advocacy platform working on water justice, ecological protection, and the democratic governance of water resources across Iraq and the wider Mesopotamian region. Today, the campaign continues its work through the Save the Tigris Foundation, based in the Netherlands.
